Final Results and Project Completion

Introduction

This stage marks the completion of my WP Credits contribution project. The objective was to review my work, document the results, and reflect on the impact of my contributions.

Development

Throughout this project, I contributed to the WordPress Polyglots Team by translating and suggesting Spanish translations for WordPress projects. According to my WordPress.org contributor profile, I submitted 220 translation suggestions and translated 110 strings. These contributions are publicly recorded on my profile and represent my participation in making WordPress more accessible to Spanish-speaking users.

The experience allowed me to learn how translation workflows operate in an open-source community. I became familiar with WordPress translation guidelines, terminology consistency, and the review process used by the Polyglots Team.

Conclusion

Completing this project was both rewarding and educational. I improved my understanding of WordPress, open-source collaboration, and localization practices. Most importantly, I learned that meaningful contributions do not always require programming skills; translation and community participation are also valuable ways to support WordPress.

This experience has motivated me to continue contributing to open-source communities and to explore additional ways of participating in the WordPress ecosystem in the future.
